Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, reusable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Page Object Model
• Write and maintain BDD scenarios using Gherkin and Cucumber-JVM
• Automate REST API testing using REST Assured, Karate, or Gatling
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions
• Execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and smoke testing
• Apply test design techniques including equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and risk-based testing
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to translate requirements into test scenarios
• Leverage Gen AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to enhance testing efficiency

Required Skills

• Java or Python, JavaScript/TypeScript — strong coding fundamentals
• Selenium WebDriver, Page Object Model, cross-browser and data-driven testing
• BDD — Gherkin, Cucumber-JVM, step definitions, hooks, DataTables
• REST API testing — REST Assured, Karate, Gatling, Postman
• GitHub Actions — pipeline integration, quality gates, scheduled runs
• Gen AI tools — GitHub Copilot, Claude
