Description

You will design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality and performance. You will collaborate with development teams to create effective test scripts for functional, regression, and integration scenarios. You will identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting. You will support the software development lifecycle by integrating testing activities within Agile delivery processes. You will generate test reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide insights on quality status, defect trends, and release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, scripts, and frameworks across multiple applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and issues, contributing to process enhancements and quality benchmarks.
• Drive continuous process improvements by evaluating new testing tools, techniques, and automation frameworks.
• Manage the defect life cycle and automation initiatives while maintaining clear stakeholder communications.
• Evaluate and integrate new testing tools and standards to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
• Proven expertise in designing and executing test plans, scripts, and frameworks.
• Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments supporting continuous delivery.
• Proficiency with databases and data management, specifically Oracle and MySQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of testing in financial services or banking domains.
• Demonstrated success in managing defect life cycles and automation initiatives.
