Description

You will own the end-to-end quality assurance process for new software features and releases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and comprehensive documentation including test scripts and execution reports.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, performance issues, and regressions.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle by documenting, tracking, and participating in bug triage meetings.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks to streamline processes.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and BAs to reproduce bugs and verify fixes.

Required Skills

• 3 to 8 years of experience in manual testing and defect triaging.
• Fundamental knowledge of Java and Core Java.
• Experience verifying REST APIs using Postman or SoapUI.
• Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Ability to use ChatGPT or similar tools to generate Selenium code for automation.
• Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and best practices.
• Experience producing testing artifacts such as sign-off documents and bug reports.
• Proven ability to transition manual tests into automated scripts immediately.
