QA Engineer

QA Engineer focused on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of business intelligence solutions. You will own the testing lifecycle for Power BI and Tableau reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Power BI and Tableau reports.
• Validate data sources, transformations, and visualizations to ensure data integrity.
• Conduct performance testing on reports and dashboards to meet established standards.
• Implement automated testing solutions to improve efficiency and track defects using JIRA.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and QA processes.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of QA experience with a focus on testing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in testing Power BI and Tableau reports.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience using JIRA or similar QA tracking tools.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Python for test automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.
