Description

You will migrate legacy test automation frameworks to modern tools, replacing UFT scripts with Playwright.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing UFT test automation scripts.
• Design and implement equivalent automated scripts using Playwright.
• Utilize AI tools like Amazon Q and GitHub Copilot for code generation and optimization.
• Collaborate with QA, development, and DevOps teams during the migration.
• Maintain and update all migration process documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Specific experience with UFT and Playwright.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools (Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot).
• Experience migrating legacy automation frameworks to modern solutions.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and rapid development cycles.
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and test automation integration.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in short-term, high-impact QA migration projects.
• Experience in cloud-based QA environments.
