Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for AML and financial applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

Validate AML transaction monitoring, customer screening, alert generation, case management, and investigation workflows.

Test AML rules, scenarios, thresholds, alerts, and transaction-monitoring workflows.

Validate data flow across upstream and downstream systems and ensure transaction data is accurately processed.

Perform API testing and database validation using SQL.

Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios covering positive, negative, and edge cases.

Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Compliance/AML teams, and other stakeholders.

Support UAT, production validation, and release activities.

Ensure testing aligns with applicable financial-services and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.

Hands-on experience with AML / Anti-Money Laundering testing.

Experience working with at least one of the following domains:

Payments

Banking

FinTech

Strong understanding of AML transaction monitoring and compliance workflows.

Experience testing financial transactions, payment processing, or banking applications.

Strong knowledge of STLC, test planning, test execution, defect management, and QA processes.

Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

Strong SQL/database testing skills.

Experience with Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar defect/test management tools.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
