You will ensure the quality and reliability of banking software applications, specifically focusing on Wire and ACH payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for banking functionalities including FedWire, SWIFT, and ACH transactions.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing to meet technical requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or HP ALM.
• Execute manual and automated scripts to validate performance, scalability, and security.
• Support release management through smoke testing, post-deployment verification, and production validation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
• Hands-on experience testing Wire and ACH payment systems.
• Proficiency with Selenium, UFT, JIRA, or HP ALM.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Familiarity with banking standards such as NACHA, SWIFT, and FedWire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
• Database testing using SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitHub.
