Description

Evaluate application software for certification compatibility with MFP devices across Windows, macOS, Linux, and UNIX platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual software quality testing on Windows, Macintosh, Unix, and Linux environments.
• Develop QA test plans and generate detailed QA test reports.
• Write reproduction procedures for anomalies and conduct research to generate findings.
• Configure software testing tools and maintain test environments.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to gather requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in manual testing or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience testing on Windows, Macintosh, Unix, and Linux platforms.
• Proficiency with web browsers including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome.
• Experience using GitLab, Trello, and MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to perform repetitive regression testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for generating reports and conducting software training.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bug tracking and versioning software such as CVS, Subversion, or GIT.
• Knowledge of PC networking, Network Operating Systems, or networking certifications.
• Knowledge of Printer Description Languages (PCL/PostScript).
