Description

You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for data migration projects and software applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans to verify software integrity and data migration accuracy.
• Develop automated testing frameworks and tools to support continuous testing.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate data schemas, pipelines, and transformation logic.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and root cause analysis for migration errors.
• Document testing procedures and monitor migration performance to optimize processes.

Required Skills

• 8 years of overall software industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, specifically with data-intensive or migration projects.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data validation techniques.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data models, and data warehousing.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Familiarity with cloud-native data services, preferably on AWS.
