Description

Validate software functionality, usability, and reliability through manual and end-to-end testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute functional test cases and test plans based on business requirements.
• Conduct manual, integration, and system testing to identify defects and deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with development teams to replicate issues and validate fixes.
• Perform regression testing by maintaining and executing existing test cases during system updates.
• Provide detailed defect reports including steps to reproduce, severity, and impact.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in manual functional testing.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend process validation.
• Experience documenting test plans, test cases, and comprehensive defect reports.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
