Description

You will lead quality assurance efforts for consumer device or software launches, managing a team and ensuring product quality within short release cycles.

Responsibilities

• Manage a quality assurance team, including hiring and developing programmatic and user-level personnel.
• Execute black box and grey box testing methodologies across embedded systems and mobile consumer electronics.
• Improve test coverage and effectiveness through creative initiative and strong analytical problem-solving.
• Operate within short release cycles to ensure consistent product quality.
• Identify and solve ambiguous problems using rigorous analytical skills.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of total industry experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on testing experience.
• 7+ years of experience managing a QA team.
• Experience with test automation and mobile app testing.
• Experience testing embedded systems or mobile consumer electronics devices.
• Proficiency with standard QA and development tools.
• Understanding of QA tool development chains and environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with C programming languages.
• Experience with automation frameworks.
