Good to Have Skills: Experience with MineStar modernization programs, platform modernization initiatives, SDLC and STLC in Agile and SAFe environments, non-functional testing methodologies including performance, reliability, scalability and security testing, risk assessment and decision-making capabilities related to quality and releases, API testing, component-level and service-level testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership to all QA teams supporting MineStar modernization initiatives and ensure quality governance.
• Define and own the test strategy and validation approach for phase-wise modernization ensuring effective coexistence between systems.
• Establish and govern built-in quality standards and Definition of Done for all development teams.
• Define modernization test suites by refactoring and extending existing legacy test suites for better coverage.
• Define and drive automation strategy, coverage, and standards across multiple development and testing teams.
• Make strategic decisions on test automation versus manual validation based on risk, complexity, and ROI.
• Review and approve test plans prepared by QA leads to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Plan and ensure adequate test coverage across functional, integration, system, and non-functional testing areas.
• Identify quality risks, dependencies, and challenges, and drive mitigation actions to prevent project delays.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering, and QA teams to align validation with feature requirements.
• Drive validation execution to ensure features meet defined acceptance criteria and deployment readiness goals.
• Track quality metrics, test effectiveness, and defect trends while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Required: 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and automation testing with experience working with multiple or large QA teams in enterprise or platform modernization programs
