Description

Lead end-to-end quality engineering for distributed microservices platforms, owning automation strategy and team execution.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automation-first testing strategies aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, and UFT.
• Drive API and service-level testing using Postman and SoapUI.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter to analyze system behavior under scale.
• Manage defects, risks, and quality metrics using Jira, Rally, and HP ALM.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software quality engineering with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium (Java, BDD), UFT, Postman, and SoapUI.
• Experience testing APIs and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on performance testing with JMeter.
• Backend/database testing skills with SQL across Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and DB2.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Leadership or team management experience.
