Description

Lead testing efforts for rate calculation functionalities within P&C insurance software applications. Own the end-to-end test strategy, ensuring comprehensive coverage of rate logic, policy issuance, and underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and methodologies for P&C rate calculation testing.
• Define testing objectives, scope, and timelines aligned with project and business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of QA engineers.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and developers to analyze rate manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and validate test scenarios to ensure full coverage of rate calculation logic.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Deep expertise in rate testing within the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of P&C concepts, including rate calculation methodologies and underwriting guidelines.
• Proficiency in both manual and automation testing.
• Experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, or Rally.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to analyze complex rate calculation requirements and regulatory documentation.
