Description

You will lead data quality testing efforts across data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement testing strategies for data pipelines, transformation logic, and system integration.
• Automate data validation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection using Python and SQL.
• Lead functional, regression, and performance testing while establishing entry and exit criteria.
• Partner with data engineers and DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor test engineers and coordinate with offshore teams to ensure adherence to testing standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data quality testing with 5+ years in a lead role.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, SQL, and Python for test automation.
• Deep understanding of ETL testing, data warehouse testing, and data lake validation.
• Experience building data testing frameworks and anomaly detection scripts for large datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud-based CI/CD tools and continuous testing integration.
• Proven ability to define test plans, performance testing strategies, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical skills for debugging complex data issues and root cause analysis.
