Description
You will lead quality assurance operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve the First Article Inspection (FAI) process.
- Prepare detailed inspection plans to ensure product compliance.
- Manage personnel and lead teams across diverse, multicultural environments.
- Analyze technical problems to implement creative, effective solutions.
- Review CMM/CMS reports and populate results on FAIRs.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of quality assurance experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an Aerospace Quality Manager.
- AS9100, AS9102, D6-51991, and ASME 14.5:2018 standard expertise.
- Advanced GD&T and blueprint reading skills.
- Proficiency in metrology using calipers, micrometers, presses, scales, and compression gauges.
- Strong understanding of MSA and Gage R&R.
- Certification by the American Society of Quality.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced mathematical skills and PC proficiency.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in build-to-print manufacturing environments.
- Technical coursework in GD&T and AS9102 application.
- Knowledge of elastomers.
