Description

You will lead the testing and validation processes for migration projects transitioning legacy Visual Basic applications to .NET Core.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a QA strategy for migrating VB4/6 applications to .NET Core to ensure functional preservation.
• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts focused on regression, functionality, and performance testing.
• Lead manual and automated testing efforts, overseeing execution and alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with developers and stakeholders to review code, identify issues, and manage defect prioritization.
• Manage and mentor the QA team, setting expectations and ensuring adherence to testing best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 2+ years in a lead or managerial role.
• Hands-on experience testing legacy Visual Basic (VB4/6) and modern .NET Core applications.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Jira, and TestRail.
• Experience managing complex migration projects involving test planning and execution.
• Knowledge of database testing, including ODBC connections and Windows-based environments.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and QA best practices.
