Define and own the QA strategy, automation framework, and release governance for BFSI and taxation systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the QA strategy aligned with the SDLC, ensuring data accuracy for high-volume BFSI and taxation systems.
• Build and maintain web automation frameworks from scratch, automating repetitive tasks like data comparison and regression testing.
• Act as the Quality Gatekeeper, owning release sign-off, quality benchmarks, and minimizing defect leakage.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team, driving performance, skill development, and a quality-first engineering culture.
• Leverage GenAI tools (Copilot, Claude, Codex) to enhance automation workflows and improve QA efficiency.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in QA, including strong expertise in data testing and validation.
• Proven experience building web automation frameworks and implementing automation strategies.
• Experience acting as a release gatekeeper with a track record of owning release quality.
• Ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders, including Product Management and Client Engagement.
• Proficiency with GenAI tools for QA automation and workflow improvement.
• B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) or MCA degree.
• Strong communication skills for publishing QA reports and tracking metrics like defect leakage and coverage.

Preferred Skills

• ISTQB, CSQA, or Agile certifications.
• Experience with scripting and tools to improve QA efficiency.
