Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect management tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Review requirements and provide feedback to improve product quality and testability.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across teams.
• Analyze test results, generate quality metrics, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for automation scripting.
• Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or PyTest.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
• ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
• Experience leading QA teams or serving as a technical mentor.
