Description

You will own the end-to-end manual testing lifecycle for web, mobile, and embedded devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan test strategies and write manual test cases aligned with project schedules and functional requirements.
• Execute smoke, system, functional, integration, regression, UAT, GUI, and load testing across web, iOS, Android, set-top boxes, cable modems, and fiber devices.
• Maintain test cases in JIRA, updating them as requirements evolve to ensure full coverage.
• Identify, report, and track bugs in JIRA; participate in defect triage and troubleshooting sessions for critical issues.
• Support production deployments and perform post-deployment validations.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of manual testing experience in a Software QA role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology, SDLC, and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with SoapUI, Postman, RESTful APIs, and XML.
• Ability to translate requirements into thorough test plans and test cases.
• Experience testing complex, multi-tier platforms is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with development teams, project management, and vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Software testing certifications.
• Experience documenting test scenarios, workflows, user guides, and technical specifications.
