Description

You will own end-to-end manual testing of insurance carrier products configured in FireLight, including annuities, life insurance, and e-application workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT for new product launches and production changes.
• Create and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, and defect reports in JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Validate product rules, rate tables, riders, disclosures, and underwriting workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis for workflow failures and support production issue triage.
• Validate FINRA, broker-dealer, and carrier compliance requirements within FireLight workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in manual functional testing and UAT coordination.
• Strong understanding of insurance products: fixed, indexed, and variable annuities; life insurance.
• Hands-on experience with FireLight platform or similar insurance/eApplication systems.
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman and data validation using SQL.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM tools for defect tracking and test management.
• Familiarity with insurance new business processes, broker-dealer operations, and FINRA compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple testing cycles and carrier implementations simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Selenium or Power Automate for test automation support.
