Description

You will own the performance testing lifecycle for tax applications to ensure scalability and security.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for APIs and modern web/mobile frameworks.
• Analyze performance characteristics using profiling tools to identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
• Lead performance optimization efforts by directing component owners across network, database, appdev, server OS/WAS, and storage teams.
• Process test results, compile statistical data, and report defects or errors.
• Draft quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance troubleshooting, including heap dump and thread dump analysis.
• 5+ years of experience testing APIs and modern web or mobile frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with Apache JMeter, ReadyAPI, and AppDynamics.
• 5+ years of experience developing test strategies and executing functional test plans.
• 5+ years of experience applying performance best practices, including JVM settings.
• 5+ years of experience using profiling tools to recommend application enhancements.
• 3+ years of experience with Jira, SQL, and MS Office.
• Proficiency with SoapUI, Postman, Git, and BitBucket.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience drafting QA standards and procedures.
