Description

You will ensure the security, scalability, and high performance of Unemployment Insurance Tax applications through rigorous performance testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Execute tests to validate application scalability and performance characteristics.
• Analyze test results, compile statistical data, and report defects.
• Lead performance optimization by directing component owners across network, database, and server OS layers.
• Use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and recommend system enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing and executing functional test strategies.
• 5+ years of experience testing APIs and modern web or mobile frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience processing test results and analyzing statistical data.
• 5+ years of experience with performance best practices, including JVM settings.
• 5+ years of experience leading performance optimization and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Proficiency with Apache JMeter, AppDynamics, and DynaTrace.
• Experience with heap dump and thread dump analysis.
• Proficiency in SoapUI, Postman, Jira, Git, BitBucket, and SQL.
• Ability to work onsite in Des Moines, IA, a minimum of 2 days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience drafting quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures.
