Description

You will design and execute performance testing strategies to ensure application quality and stability.

Responsibilities

• Build realistic performance test scripts in JMeter derived from actual user journeys.
• Design and implement various load models to validate system behavior under different conditions.
• Identify resource utilization bottlenecks and monitor application server performance.
• Maintain and execute performance test plans for every sprint increment.
• Record performance deviations in Jira and coordinate with development teams to track issues to closure.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in performance testing.
• Expertise in JMeter for script development and test execution.
• Strong experience testing protocols beyond HTTP/HTTPS and various authentication mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Core Java and OOP concepts.
• Ability to work with JSON and Regular Expressions.
• Experience integrating JMeter with backend listeners like Grafana, Kibana, or Datadog.
• Hands-on experience with relational and time-series databases.
• Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP to monitor failures and response times.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration using Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience setting up performance test environments from scratch.
