Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Pytest, Cucumber, Serenity, or similar tools.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
• Perform testing across web applications, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Support continuous testing and Shift-Left testing practices.
• Perform API and database testing, including SQL validation.
• Validate data across data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise platforms.
• Implement testing practices such as BDD, TDD, and Risk-Based Testing.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot automation and application issues.
• Improve test coverage, automation stability, execution time, and overall quality.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for test environments and deployments.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Use tools such as Jira/Xray for defect and test management.
• Explore and use AI-assisted testing and engineering tools to improve automation development and maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other technology teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow automation and coding best practices.

Skills Required:

• 2+ years of experience in QA, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Good programming experience in Python and/or Java.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of test automation framework development.
• Experience in API, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Knowledge of AWS or GCP is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Jira/Xray or similar test management tools.
• Understanding of BDD, TDD, Shift-Left, and Risk-Based Testing.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools, AI agents, MCP, or agentic workflows is an added advantage.
• Experience in financial services or asset management is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Software Testing, Automation, Cloud, or DevOps are an added advantage
