Description

You will own the development of test plans and test strategies, translating functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into executable tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing (black and grey box) for Java and client/server backend applications.
• Review, author, and maintain automated test scripts to support QA automation efforts.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, recommending solutions for recurring product issues.
• Communicate quality metrics and product readiness status to QA Management and the project team.
• Identify gaps in QA processes and implement solutions for continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Expert proficiency in Python and Pytest.
• Hands-on experience building automation frameworks for GUI and API/Webservices.
• Proficiency with Agile methodology and related processes.
• Experience with test management tools: qTest, Allure, JiRA, Quality Center.
• Strong knowledge of QA concepts and methodologies.
• Experience testing database-driven applications on Unix/Linux or Windows.
• Familiarity with commercial software development processes, SaaS, or ASP applications.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Strong skills in RDDBMS and NoSQL, including generating complex queries for Oracle or MongoDB.
