Description

You will design, build, and improve automation frameworks for UI and API testing while owning the quality engineering lifecycle from requirement translation to release validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks using modern standards to test UI and APIs.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve incidents.
• Prepare and manage test data through mocking and service-level preparation.
• Write comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA teams to translate requirements into technical tests.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles.
• Hands-on experience testing and automating APIs using Postman and SoapUI.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Zephyr, ALM, or X-ray.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments using Jira.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipelines including Azure, AWS, Jenkins, Maven, or GitLab.
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with end-to-end testing lifecycles.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Mainframe experience including green screen navigation and lookup fields.
• Knowledge of mainframe VSAM lookup and JCL jobs.
