Description

You will design, build, and improve automation frameworks for UI and API testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks using modern standards for UI and API testing.
• Collaborate with BAs and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical test plans.
• Execute end-to-end testing, including debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Prepare and manage test data through mocking and service-level data preparation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements within the test development practice.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles.
• Hands-on experience testing and automating APIs using Postman and SoapUI.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Zephyr, ALM, or X-ray.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and using Jira.
• Practical experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines using Azure, AWS, Jenkins, Maven, or GitLab.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Ability to write comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.

Preferred Skills

• Mainframe experience, including navigating green screens and understanding VSAM lookup and JCL jobs.
