Description

You will own quality assurance for data workflows, pipelines, and Power BI models within the Microsoft Fabric environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA strategies for data workflows, pipelines, and models in Microsoft Fabric.
• Establish repeatable testing processes to validate data quality, consistency, and accuracy across Power BI reports and semantic models.
• Test Power BI Service functionality, including navigation, permissions, and user interactions, to ensure optimal performance.
• Query SQL backend sources to confirm data accuracy, transformations, and performance across different environments.
• Design and manage automated testing processes for pipelines, models, and integrations to improve efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Data Quality Testing, and Data Validation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, Azure, and Excel.
• Experience with Automated Testing and tools like Playwright.
• Ability to validate front-end report outputs against underlying data sources.
• Experience comparing legacy versus Fabric environments during migration processes.
• Document test cases, scenarios, and outcomes clearly and reproducibly.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data-related issues and coordinate resolutions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AI Testing Frameworks and SDLC methodology.
• Familiarity with Azure security protocols, governance frameworks, and CI/CT practices.
