Description
You will perform technical inspection and quality control tasks on returned and explanted equipment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, log, and track devices returned from the field or explanted from patients for failure analysis.
- Verify and reconcile all received equipment against quality-system records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Safely decontaminate returned/explanted equipment per standard operating procedures.
- Perform visual inspection and microscopic evaluation of returned products and conduct functional testing on electronic assemblies.
- Record detailed findings, test results, and corrective-action notes in the Quality System database.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical testing and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with microscopes, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
- Familiarity with quality-system compliance, including SOPs, CAPA, and Deviation Reports.
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on electro-mechanical products.
- Proven ability to document findings clearly and concisely.
