You will manage quality assurance reviews and material traceability to ensure compliance with customer and product requirements.
Responsibilities
Verify received materials and certification packages, including test reports and manufacturer certifications, to ensure part traceability and document accuracy.
Utilize inventory management and client quality portals to record material information, document discrepancies, and manage segregation or placarding.
Assign shelf life and storage conditions within the inventory management system based on specific product and customer requirements.
Release conforming material for warehouse processing, ensuring correct lot/batch, expiration dates, bin locations, and labeling.
Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with procurement and vendors to resolve nonconforming material discrepancies.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control.
Proven ability to perform Root Cause Analysis.
Experience managing Shelf Life and storage requirement documentation.
Ability to manage material traceability and certification packages.
Monitor temperature recording devices on storage units and execute required actions during failures.
Support hazardous material shipping processes by printing certifications, labels, and transportation paperwork.
Coordinate sampling with external customers and certified labs.
