Description

This dual-focused role splits time between Tier 2 technical support (70%) and software testing and verification (30%).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement testing strategies for enterprise systems.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to verify functionality, performance, and security for web app features and APIs.
• Identify and implement process improvements for automated and manual test frameworks to resolve bottlenecks.
• Report, track, and manage defects through defect grooming.
• Perform root cause investigations to communicate complex technical issues to engineers.
• Gather quality metrics and conduct periodic Quality Assurance audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or technical support.
• Proficiency in manual testing and software testing methodologies.
• Strong root cause investigation and analytical skills.
• Experience with test planning and execution for web applications and APIs.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and systems to analyze information.
• Proven problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Strong data gathering and organization skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with field teams, partners, and customers.
• University degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
