Description

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for critical trading and financial front-office applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable automated test cases for trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds.
• Partner with front-office users and developers to translate business requirements into clear testing priorities.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing pipelines to ensure application stability and data accuracy.
• Analyze automated test results, isolate root causes of defects, and collaborate with development teams for remediation.
• Document test plans, datasets, and execution results to align with regulatory compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java; JavaScript experience is also considered.
• Proven experience building test automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium, TestNG, or similar enterprise tools.
• Experience integrating test suites into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to perform live coding scenarios and demonstrate confident scripting capabilities.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to interface between technical developers and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Direct testing experience within a Capital Markets environment.
• Understanding of trading workflows, financial instruments, and real-time market data systems.
