Description

You will design, develop, and execute automation scripts to validate complex ETL and Data Warehouse solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional and technical requirements into comprehensive test cases and scripts.
• Design and execute automation scripts for functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Automate testing for databases and ETL processes built on cloud solutions.
• Manage defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor and coach less experienced staff through technical knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing and developing tests for ETL and Data Warehouse solutions.
• 7+ years of automation development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and R using IDEs like Databricks, Jupyter notebook, or AWS Glue.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Karate or Postman.
• Ability to create complex SQL queries for test data creation and data integrity validation.
• Experience with large database systems such as PostgreSQL, Oracle Exadata, or AWS Redshift.
• Familiarity with source control using Git.
• Experience building continuous test jobs that execute on a schedule or based on events.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent significant IT experience.
