Description

You will own backend testing for payments and banking systems, focusing on mainframe and middleware components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing of backend systems, including mainframe and middleware.
• Validate and compare JSON and XML data structures for accuracy and integrity.
• Design and execute test cases for batch jobs and message queues.
• Track and manage defects through resolution.
• Support integration testing and automation efforts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in backend testing.
• Expertise in API testing using Postman.
• Proficiency in Python and Pytest.
• Experience with mainframe and middleware technologies, specifically MQ and ESB.
• Strong ability to validate JSON and XML data.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages.
• Background in financial services, payments, or banking systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Bruno for API testing.
• Experience with Java scripting.
