Description

You will own the testing and validation processes for the Blue Planet Inventory Management System (BPI). You will ensure data integrity and functionality across integrations with SOO, MDSO, and Network Elements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, detailed test cases, and scenarios for BPI and its integrations.
• Validate Discovery features and ensure data integrity within the inventory management system.
• Execute manual and automated testing, documenting defects and performing regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to align testing with user requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain inventory data in BPI during the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software application testing.
• Deep understanding of Network Inventory Management, specifically Blue Planet Inventory (BPI).
• Experience testing integrations with SOO, MDSO, and EMS/Network elements.
• Knowledge of telecom network elements such as routers and switches.
• Proficiency in validating BPI Discovery features and related functionalities.
• Strong knowledge of TMF Open APIs.
• Basic programming skills in Java or Python.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Selenium, Jenkins, and Git.
• Understanding of network protocols like SNMP and NETCONF.
• Knowledge of Active and Passive Inventory concepts.
