QA Test Lead Engineer

Lead QA integration testing to ensure applications meet quality standards. Manage a QA team, provide technical guidance, and prioritize workloads with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide the QA team in technical execution and workload prioritization.
• Create, execute, maintain, and enhance test documentation and automation scripts.
• Perform detailed functional, regression, and backend REST service testing.
• Report, record, and re-verify defects while collaborating with partners to resolve issues.
• Set up testing environments and manage automation test jobs in CI pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of IT experience with expertise in service layer test automation.
• Hands-on experience with OOP concepts in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Proficiency writing automated API tests using Cypress, REST Assured, or Ready API.
• Experience automating backend REST services using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong SQL skills or experience with Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Experience with CI tools like Jenkins or CircleCI and SCM tools like GitLab, GitHub, or AWS Code Commit.
• Ability to create test reports using Cucumber or Extent reports.
• Experience virtualizing services using Wire Mock or Mockito.
• Background in distributed agile teams using SCRUM, SAFe, or XP.

• Advanced SQL querying capabilities.
