You will manage and execute advanced QA and testing activities across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define and review the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy for modernization projects, guiding the team through soft UAT.
• Coordinate sprint review feedback between Vendor staff and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Lead triage efforts, tracking, prioritizing, and managing defects, conducting root cause analysis on themes.
• Act as the main liaison between the IT Division, business users, and the Vendor.
• Ensure UAT exit criteria are met and secure final sign-off from the business.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a QA Test Manager role, preferably with a Texas state agency.
• Experience overseeing user acceptance, performance, accessibility, interface, security, and data conversion testing.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience managing and monitoring test activities on modern technology platforms.
• Expertise with test tools including Jira, TestSavvy, JUnit, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, and SQL.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like JPProfiler and JMeter.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Strong capabilities in leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving.
