Description

You will execute manual testing and drive quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and developers to design comprehensive test plans, strategies, and detailed test cases.
• Execute manual test cases, scripts, and test data to identify defects, inconsistencies, and implementation flaws.
• Document and track defects using management tools, ensuring timely resolution and successful retesting.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Provide input on application designs and assist in technical design reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing.
• Proficiency in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
• Expertise in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Experience using defect tracking tools and test management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work within collaborative team environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium.
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
