Description

You own the quality assurance lifecycle, designing and executing test plans to ensure software reliability. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues and validate releases.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and prepare test reports to communicate progress.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA).
• Strong proficiency in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
• Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Familiarity with Selenium and Cypress.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
