Description

You will act as a subject matter expert for testing web application accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Test web applications for accessibility compliance using automated and manual tools.
• Standardize logging templates and systems for tracking accessibility defects.
• Manage and prioritize critical ADA defects.
• Support usability testing and research for accessibility.
• Provide project-based training for ADA awareness and implementation.

Required Skills

• In-depth working knowledge of WCAG, WAI-ARIA, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• 3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies within agile projects.
• Experience ensuring digital products adhere to WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 level AA conformance.
• Proficiency with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, and Voiceover.
• Experience using WAVE and other automated testing tools across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems.
• Ability to write testing rules, standards, and scripts.
• Proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects and lead other QA testers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of basic and technical accessibility certification courses.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
• Previous experience with Health and Human Services Systems.
