Description

You will own the accessibility testing lifecycle for the Client Gateway System to ensure eligibility applications meet ADA standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute ADA testing for web applications to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Standardize logging templates and systems for tracking accessibility defects.
• Manage and prioritize critical ADA defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead and provide direction to other QA testers on accessibility best practices.
• Support usability testing and research to foster accessibility innovation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies within agile projects.
• In-depth knowledge of WCAG (2.0, 2.1 level AA), WAI-ARIA, and ADA standards.
• Proficiency with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, and Voiceover.
• Experience using automated and manual testing tools such as WAVE.
• Ability to write testing rules, standards, and scripts.
• Proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of basic or technical accessibility certification courses.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
• Previous experience with Health and Human Services Systems.
