About the Role

We are hiring a QA Automation Tester with strong hands-on testing experience and a solid technical background in the Payments domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java-based UI and API test automation, performance testing, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing of applications in the Payments domain.
• Design, develop, and execute UI automation scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using RestAssured.
• Validate backend functionality and understand Java-based backend concepts.
• Perform performance testing to assess application stability and responsiveness.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and testing activities.
• Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery of testing assignments.

What We're Looking For

• 7–12 years of hands-on experience as a QA Tester.
• Strong and technical experience in the Payments domain.
• Proven experience in UI and API test automation using Java.
• Hands-on expertise in Selenium and RestAssured.
• Strong understanding of Java programming and backend concepts.
• Proficiency in test automation and performance testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing processes.
• Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
