Description

You will manage end-to-end testing processes across Windows and Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement QA processes, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Perform black box, system, functionality, GUI, integration, backend, performance, and regression testing.
• Develop test programs using COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
• Monitor mainframe batch jobs and identify system defects using infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Extract and filter data from mainframe files using file manager and FTP for spreadsheet analysis.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
• Experience with Black Box, GUI, and Manual testing methodologies.
• Ability to work within Windows and Unix environments.
• Knowledge of TSO/ISPF, Adapters, Document Direct, and Client Central tools.
• SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and bug tracking systems.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel to client locations within the United States for onsite interaction and end-user training.
• Participation in release planning and demand prioritization.
