Description

Key Responsibilities

• Write, review and execute comprehensive test cases to validate system behavior and workflows.
• Develop, maintain and run automated tests to support continuous quality assurance efforts.
• Log, track and collaborate on issues using Jira and maintain documentation in Confluence.
• Support testing activities for liquid handling platforms and other lab automation systems.
• Report defects clearly, work with engineers to reproduce issues, and verify fixes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Java scripting and scripting-based test implementations.
• Hands-on experience writing and executing test cases and documenting results.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for test management and collaboration.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and practical lab automation or liquid handling platform work.
• Local to the Bay Area (onsite presence required); any visa status will be considered.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Selenium or similar automation frameworks.
• Comfortable with additional scripting languages such as Python for test automation tasks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.
• Prior exposure to electronic lab systems or instrument control software
