Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Test Ownership: Take complete accountability for the QA lifecycle of the migration

project, from analyzing migration requirements to executing comprehensive test plans.

Data Integrity & Report Verification: Compare high-volume reporting datasets generated by

the old system (MS SQL/Oracle) against the new system (Snowflake) to guarantee exact data
SQL 
matches.

Basic SQL Querying: Write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries to pull data, verify

database tables, and confirm that background tasks are processing data correctly.

Defect Tracking & Collaboration: Work closely with our Team. Document bugs with clear

reproduction steps, including the specific UI inputs and details that caused the failure.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 2 4 years of experience in manual software testing, with a strong focus on

web-based enterprise applications or reporting platforms.

Basic SQL Background: Functional knowledge of SQL. You should be comfortable writing

basic queries (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY) to verify that data on the front-end

matches the back-end database.

E2E Testing Mindset: Proven ability to test complex user journeys specifically, configuring a

report in a UI, triggering an asynchronous download, and validating the final exported file

(CSV/Excel).

Tools Expertise: Proficiency with modern test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

Nice-to-Have Skills

AI-Assisted Testing: Experience using AI tools (like Claude) to help generate test cases or write

SQL queries faster.

Asynchronous Workflows: Understanding of how background job processors queue and execute

tasks
