Description

You will own the end-to-end QA lifecycle for the migration project, ensuring data integrity between legacy systems and Snowflake.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test plans for migration requirements, covering manual software testing of web-based enterprise applications.
• Verify data integrity by comparing high-volume reporting datasets from MS SQL/Oracle against Snowflake to guarantee exact matches.
• Write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY) to validate database tables and background task processing.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps, including specific UI inputs and failure details, using tools like Jira.
• Test complex user journeys, including configuring reports in the UI, triggering asynchronous downloads, and validating exported files (CSV/Excel).

Required Skills

• 2 to 4 years of experience in manual software testing for web applications or reporting platforms.
• Functional SQL knowledge, including writing queries with JOINs and GROUP BY for data verification.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools, specifically Jira.
• Understanding of asynchronous workflows and background job processors.
• Ability to validate end-to-end user journeys and exported data files.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with MS SQL and Oracle database environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to generate test cases or accelerate SQL query writing.
