Description

You will own the testing lifecycle for GMI software on the IBM iSeries platform. Your work ensures functional stability and regression integrity across releases.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases to identify bugs and verify functionality.
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure updates do not introduce new defects.
• Validate software against company requirements and user expectations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably in the futures industry.
• Proficiency with Jira for defect tracking and project management.
• Hands-on experience with UFT for automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries environment.
• Ability to read and understand RPG code and DDS.
• Competent in SQL for data validation and testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting defects.
• High attention to detail for spotting minor UI or code errors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing GMI software.
• Familiarity with Kanban software testing methodologies.
