Description

You will execute full localization QA test cycles across multiple platforms and environments, ensuring linguistic and functional quality.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate UI behavior for truncation, clipping, alignment, wrapping, and encoding issues.
• Review, verify, edit, score, and translate copy while validating tone, grammar, and cultural relevance.
• Report and track bugs clearly; retest to confirm fixes.
• Provide feedback on linguistic errors, UX issues, and functional defects.
• Contribute updates to Style Guides and Terminology Databases.

Required Skills

• Native-level proficiency in the target language.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail for identifying nuanced linguistic or UI issues.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally.
• Familiarity with internationalization and multilingual UX concepts.
• Proficiency with file formats including .CSV, JSON, HTML, and Unicode.
• Proficiency with macOS/iOS environments.
• 5+ years of experience in QA or linguistic testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAT tools or localization platforms such as Worldserver, memoQ, Smartling, or Lokalise.
