Description

You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for service-layer applications and backend REST services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test documents and automated testing scripts.
• Perform detailed functional, regression, and batch job testing.
• Report, record, and re-verify defects while working with business partners to resolve issues.
• Set up and configure testing environments and virtualize services for automation.
• Build and maintain automation test jobs within CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of IT experience with expertise in service-layer test automation.
• Proficiency in OOP concepts using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience writing automated API tests using REST Assured, Cypress, or Ready API.
• Experience automating backend REST services and using Postman.
• Strong querying skills in SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins or Circle CI.
• Proficiency with source code management tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or AWS Code Commit.
• Experience creating test reports using Cucumber or Extent reports.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of financial industry domains, specifically Equities, Options, Fixed Income, and Futures.
• Advanced SQL for data manipulation in complex testing scenarios.
